I am a part-time photographer and full-time technology nerd. A Canadian based in Paris and New York, I love to travel the streets of the world.
The celebrated New York photographer, Joel Meyerowitz, describes a photographer as someone who thinks in units of 1/1000th of a second. For Meyerowitz, the understanding and control of this small parcel of time is a vital element in a photographer's journey to capture the key images in the world around themselves. I have taken this message to heart and I continue to train both my brain and eyes to think and react at the speed of life.
I claim no vision or message. I do not even dare to call myself an "artist." I hope that my pictures will tell a story about the people, places and things that I have seen. In the end, the camera can only show what the world looks like, photographed.
I invite you to tour this website and to observe the way the world has looked to me, photographed.
